Coleman Gas C500 Cartridge offers 70/30 butane/propane gas mixture in threaded self-sealing cartridges with a safety valve so you can remove your stove/appliance, without leaks, even when it’s not empty. They are compatible with all Coleman resealable appliances.

The benefit of 70/30 butane/propane mix is that it increases a Coleman stove or lantern’s performance in lower temperatures. In terms of how long the C500 Gas Cartridge lasts on a typical 2 night camping or bivvy session depends on the fuel efficiency of your stove and the amount of cooking/lighting you are going to do. For example 1 C500 Gas Cartridge (500ml) will sort you out for all your cooking and brew making for two days.

Fuel efficiency is greatly improved if you use a windshield which concentrates the heat from the stove to the cooking pot therefore reducing the amount of time it takes for the water to boil or food to heat up.
