Century – C2-D 13′ Marker Rod Century Sic 50 & Daiwa Emblem Spod

These rods are designed to compliment the C2-D carp rod in both looks and performance. If casting long distances then you need Applications rods which are capable of performing at a similar level. These rods are only available with the Century SiC 50 guides but the outer carbon 1k twill and the black reelseat with red tippings match that used on the C2-D. These rods share DNA from our experience in our previous Spod and Marker rods but we have slightly lowered the diameter and increased the power while increasing the length to 13′. Bait delivery has been praised but accuracy is the feedback which has pleased us the most so anglers are buying these not just to use at long range but also to partner up with shorter intermediate distance rods like the NG or ADV.

This is the best dedicated spodding reel on the market. Designed around the body and spool of the Emblem Pro the ‘Spod’ retrieves over 100cm of line for every handle turn.

The oversize ABS spool lets line peel off effortlessly and the Tournament line clip cushions even the most powerful of casts. We have included two important features that make life easier.

CastLock ensures that the opened bail stays locked in the correct position during the cast. The second is Auto Cast II where, under the tension from a loaded spod you simply engage the button on the underside of the reel and the rotor will turn and stop at the perfect position for line pick up and bail opening. With four high quality ball bearings including one CRBB combined with worm gear oscillation the Emblem Spod truly is a tough and smooth performer.
